A customer in Pacific Pines contacted ISB Electrical because their Samsung washing machine was not spinning properly. Clothes were left wet at the end of the cycle and the machine could not complete the spin program.

Problem

The Samsung washing machine was washing normally, but it would not spin correctly. The drum either failed to reach spin speed or stopped before the spin cycle finished.

Diagnosis

After inspection, we checked the drain system, motor, belt, suspension, door lock and control board. The fault was traced to a spin system fault preventing normal drum rotation during the final cycle.

Repair

We diagnosed the cause of the spin failure and carried out the required repair. We replaced suspension rodds kit. After testing, the Samsung washing machine completed the spin cycle correctly and clothes were no longer left soaking wet.
