LG Washing Machine LE Error Code – Ormeau Hills Repair

A customer in Ormeau Hills contacted ISB Electrical because their LG washing machine displayed an LE error code and stopped working during the wash cycle. The machine would not spin properly and kept stopping unexpectedly.

Problem

The LG washing machine showed LE error code and failed to complete the wash cycle. The drum movement was irregular and the machine stopped before spinning correctly.

Diagnosis

After inspection, we checked the motor, stator, wiring harness and rotor position sensor (RPS). The fault was traced to a faulty RPS sensor on the motor, causing incorrect motor feedback and triggering the LE error.

Repair

We replaced the faulty RPS sensor and tested the washing machine through full wash and spin cycles. After repair, the LG washing machine operated normally again and the LE error code was fully resolved.
