Miele Dishwasher Not Draining – Biggera Waters Repair

A customer in Biggera Waters contacted ISB Electrical because their Miele dishwasher was not draining properly after the wash cycle. Water remained inside the machine and the dishwasher could not complete the program correctly.

Problem

The Miele dishwasher was leaving dirty water at the bottom of the tub after every cycle. The customer noticed poor draining performance and the dishwasher was becoming unreliable.

Diagnosis

After inspection, we checked the drain pump, non-return valve, drain hose and internal drainage system. The fault was caused by a faulty non-return valve and blockage inside the pump and drain system.

Repair

We replaced the faulty non-return valve and fully cleared the pump and drain system. After testing, the Miele dishwasher drained correctly again and completed the full wash cycle normally.
