Omega Oven Trips the Power – Ashmore Repair

A customer in Ashmore contacted ISB Electrical because their Omega oven was tripping the power every time they tried to use it. The safety switch would turn off as soon as the oven started heating.

Problem

The Omega oven would power on normally, but once heating started, the power would trip immediately. The customer could not use the oven safely and needed urgent repair.

Diagnosis

After inspection, we checked the fan forced element, grill element, wiring and insulation resistance. The fault was traced to a heating element with insulation breakdown causing earth leakage and tripping the safety switch.

Repair

We replaced the faulty heating element and tested the oven fully. After repair, the Omega oven heated normally without tripping the power and was operating safely again.
