Samsung Washing Machine Stopped and Not Draining – Upper Coomera

A customer in Upper Coomera contacted ISB Electrical because their Samsung washing machine had stopped during the cycle and was not draining water. Water remained inside the drum, and the machine could not complete the wash program.

Fault Found

The fault was caused by the drain pump being stuck with foreign objects. The obstruction stopped the pump from rotating correctly and prevented the machine from draining water.

When the drain pump is jammed, the washing machine may stop in the middle of the cycle, leave water inside the drum, fail to spin, or show a drain-related error.

Repair Completed

The foreign objects were removed and the drain pump was cleared. After clearing the blockage, the Samsung washing machine was tested to confirm the pump was draining correctly.

The machine was then checked through the drain stage to confirm normal water removal and correct operation after the repair.
