Fault Found

The fault was caused by damaged wire insulation near the top door hinge. The damaged wire insulation created a short circuit in the flapper heater wiring circuit.

As a result, the short circuit damaged the main PCB. The refrigerator was beeping 20 times when any door was opened, and the F20 error was present.

This type of fault is different from a simple open circuit flapper heater wire fault. In this case, the damaged insulation caused electrical damage to the main control board.

Repair Required

The damaged wiring near the door hinge must be repaired or made safe, and the faulty main PCB requires replacement. After repair, the refrigerator should be tested to confirm the F20 error is cleared, the beeping stops, and the flapper heater circuit operates correctly.

The customer was advised not to ignore the fault because damaged wiring and short circuit damage can affect the refrigerator control system and may cause further electrical problems.
