Miele Dishwasher Water In Base – Hope Island
A customer in Hope Island contacted ISB Electrical because their Miele dishwasher stopped working and the drain pump continued running continuously.

Inspection and Diagnosis

Fault Found
The fault was caused by a split hose underneath the dishwasher.
Water leaked into the base tray during operation and activated the Miele waterproof protection system.
Once the flood switch detected water in the base, the dishwasher stopped operating and continuously ran the drain pump to prevent further flooding.
Repair Completed
The damaged hose was replaced and the water was removed from the base tray.
The waterproof system was reset and the dishwasher was tested through multiple wash cycles.
After repair, the dishwasher operated normally and no further leaks were detected.
