Westinghouse Dishwasher Not Heating in Robina
ISB Electrical attended a Westinghouse dishwasher repair job in Robina where the customer reported that the dishwasher was completing the cycle, but the dishes were coming out cold and wet.

Customer Complaint
The customer noticed that plates and glasses were still wet at the end of the cycle. The detergent was not dissolving properly and there was no steam when opening the dishwasher door.
Diagnosis
We inspected the heating element, wiring, thermostat circuit, temperature sensor and main control board. Electrical testing was carried out to confirm whether the heater circuit was operating correctly.
Fault Found
Testing confirmed that the heating element was open circuit. Because the heater had failed internally, the dishwasher could not heat the wash water or dry the dishes properly.
Repair Carried Out
The faulty heating element was identified and replacement was recommended. The remaining electrical circuit was checked to confirm there were no additional visible wiring or control faults.
