A customer in Robina contacted ISB Electrical because their Samsung washing machine was not draining properly. The machine would complete part of the cycle but stop with water remaining inside the drum.

Problem

The washing machine was not draining and would not enter the spin cycle. Clothes were left wet at the end of the cycle.

Diagnosis

We inspected the drain pump, filter, hoses and control system. The fault was related to restricted water flow through the drain system.

Repair

The drain system was cleared and tested. We removed a few coins and nails from the water punp. After repair, the washing machine drained correctly and completed full cycles including spin.
