ISB Electrical attended a Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer dishwasher repair job in Southport where the customer reported an F1 error and beeping during operation.
On Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer dishwashers, an F1 error usually indicates water has been detected in the base pan and the flood switch has been activated. This can happen due to an internal leak, blocked drain system, faulty lid seal, overfilling or a drawer alignment issue.
During diagnosis, we removed the drawer, inspected the base pan, checked the flood switch, drain hose, lid actuator operation, inlet valve and internal water paths. Water was found in the base area, triggering the F1 flood protection fault.
The water was removed from the base pan, the drainage and sealing areas were checked, and the dishwasher was tested through a cycle. After repair and testing, the DishDrawer operated normally without the F1 error returning.
If your Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer is showing an F1 error in Southport or nearby Gold Coast suburbs, ISB Electrical can diagnose the problem and provide a reliable repair solution.
