A customer in Southport contacted ISB Electrical because their Bosch washing machine was not draining water properly. At the end of the cycle, water remained inside the drum and the machine could not complete the program.

Problem

The Bosch washing machine completed the wash cycle but failed to drain water. Clothes remained wet and the spin cycle could not operate correctly.

Diagnosis

After inspection, we checked the drain pump, filter, hose and internal drain system. The issue was caused by a blockage in the drain system affecting proper water flow.

Repair

We cleared the drain system, cleaned the pump, spigot under the sink, concertina hose and restored proper water flow. After testing, the washing machine drained correctly and completed full cycles without issues.
